Pre-Launch — Accepting Submissions

The SRC Journal of Radiation Studies and Techniques (JRST) was established in 2026 by the Scientific Research Commission (SRC). The journal is currently in its pre-publication phase. No issues have been published to date; the editorial office is in the process of completing journal registration, ISSN assignment, and accreditation procedures. The first issue is anticipated upon the fulfilment of all applicable indexing and accreditation requirements. Authors wishing to submit original manuscripts are invited to do so through the journal's online submission system. All submissions will undergo the journal's standard peer-review process prior to acceptance.

📋 Editorial Status

Journal Established Completed
JRST founded by the Scientific Research Commission (SRC), Baghdad, Iraq. Aims, scope, and editorial policies defined.
Online Submission System Launched Completed
The manuscript submission portal is operational. Authors may register and submit original work for peer review.
ISSN Registration & Accreditation In Progress
Application for online and print ISSN is under review by the ISSN International Centre. Editorial board accreditation procedures are ongoing.
Indexing Applications In Progress
Applications to DOAJ, ROAD, and IASJ are progressing. CLOCKSS preservation arrangement is in place.
Inaugural Issue Publication Pending
The first issue will be published upon completion of registration, accreditation, and the peer-review of the inaugural cohort of accepted manuscripts.

Invitation to Submit

JRST welcomes original contributions from researchers working in radiation physics, radiation chemistry, dosimetry, radiation detection and instrumentation, medical physics, industrial radiation applications, laser and non-ionizing radiation, Monte Carlo simulation, and related areas. The journal operates an impartial double-blind peer-review process and is committed to rapid, rigorous evaluation.

Manuscripts submitted during the pre-launch phase will be processed and reviewed according to the standard editorial workflow. Accepted manuscripts will be assigned to the inaugural or subsequent issue upon publication commencement. For author guidelines and submission requirements, please consult the Author Guidelines.
